acrylic acid n-butyl ester; anhydrous lithium acetate; copper diacetate; palladium diacetate in N,N-dimethyl-formamide byproducts: (PhCHCH)2; under Ar; 0.30-0.36 mmol of organotin comp. and 0.30 mmol of olefin added to a soln. of 0.03 mmol of Pd(OAc)2, 0.90 mmol of Cu(OAc)2 and 0.60 mmol of LiOAc in DMF at room temp., mixt. stirred at 100° for 24 h, diluted with Et2O; monitored by NMR spectra;
