SnCl2 in THF at 0 °C, after stirring for 20 min added soln. of MeMgI in Et2O at 0 °C, stirred for 15 min CuCN and soln. of alkene in THF added successively, stirred for 5 h at room temp.; poured into aq. satd. soln. of NH4Cl, extd. (Et2O), org. layer washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, concd., cromd. (SiO2);
