<p>将甲苯与无水三氯化铝加热，控制温度在45-50℃，在外部冷却下加入邻苯二甲酸酐，混合物保温至反应完全。将反应混合物倒入10%硫酸水溶液中，含产品的浆状物经水洗、分层、分离。含产品的溶剂层与5%碳酸钠溶液混合、过滤、洗涤、干燥而得2-（对甲苯酰）苯甲酸，然后与发烟硫酸在115℃加热1h进行闭环，将产物倾入冷水中，过滤、水洗、干燥而得。</p>

<p>用于生产高级染料及中间体。</p>
