<p>由苯甲酰酸与甲醇经酯化反应则制得。将环甲醇和苯甲酰甲酸加入反应锅内，搅拌下缓缓加入硫酸。加热回流12h后，回收过量甲醇。酯化物用稀碳酸钠溶液中和，分取油层，水层用苯提取。提取液与油层合并，经无水硫酸钠干燥后，进行蒸馏，先回收溶剂苯，再减压蒸出低沸物，然后收集137-146℃（2.4kPa）馏分，取为苯甲酰甲酸甲酯。所用原料苯甲酰甲酸是由苯乙烯氧化得到的（见04960），苯甲酰甲酸计，酯化收率为50%以上。</p> | |
