in water 40 g Na2CO3 are dissolved in 120 cm3 H2O (air-free), SO2 is introduced till rearrangement into NaHSO3; further addn. of same amounts Na2CO3 and filtration at 100°C; all operations had to be done under an atmosphere of H2;; separation of the formed crystalls after a few hours, washing with alcohol/water, than with water and drying; the obtained product is free of sulfate;;
sulfonic acid in melt melting sulfonic acids with NaOH, addn. of SO2, separation of phenol or naphthol by distn., filtration of soln., crystn., further product on evapn. of mother-liquor;;
in water regeneration of sulfite cellulose wastes: treatment of the combustion residue with Na-zincate or Na-plumbate at 100°C under pressure, pptn. of insol. sulfides, treatment of the soln. with SO2;;
