in neat (no solvent, gas phase) byproducts: Cl2; gaseous AlCl3 (formed by AlCl3 heating at 150°C) introduction toreaction zone by stream of Ar, dried O2 introduction, reaction for 2 h at 900 or 950°C, product ratio depends on temp., very low percent of reacted AlCl3 at temp. < 700°C; heating in Ar stream at 250°C, refluxing in ethanol with stirring for 2 h, centrifugation, repeated refluxing until Cl absence in ethanol phase, X-ray anal.;
