under Ar, excess of C3F7H was condensed at -90 °C into ether, 2.5M BuLi in hexane was added (temp. was below -90 °C), stirring at -90/-95 °C for 1 h, 1 equiv. of B(OMe)3 was added, stirring for 1 h, warming to 20 °C in 2 h; monitoring by (19)F and (11)B NMR; the yield of Li(C3F7B(OMe)3) was 20 percent;
