AgNO3 dissolved in H2O; N2 bubbled (30 min); added to Na oleate under stirring for 2 h; filtered; ppt. washed with H2O; dried; flushed with N2; sealed under 300 mTorr; slowly heated to 563 K (2 K/min); held at 563 K for 1 h; cooled to room temp.; detd. by X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron microscopy; Ag nanocrystals obtained;
